In Pictures: progress made on east downtown apartment projects

There are three apartment projects that will add over 600 residential units are coming along just east of downtown Salt Lake City. Each project is in a different stage of construction. Of the three, the closest to completion is the Liberty BLVD which is now leasing. The Block 44 Apartments are now completely framed-out and exterior and interior finishing work is underway. Framing should start soon on the Morton as the parking structure is beginning to peak out of the ground.
Cowboy Parter‘s Liberty BLVD complex on the southeast corner of 400 South and 700 East is nearing completion with the ground floor Chipotle restaurant now open. Construction of the north section is completed but the south section is still underway. The 267 residential units are now leasing from $950 for an efficiency to up to $1,750 for a two-bed, two-bath apartment. Around 10 percent of the units will be reserved for people earning up to 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AM(). Liberty BLVD is located next to a TRAX station, across the street from Trolley Square and close to numerous food options along 400 South. Whole Foods, Smith’s Marketplace, Trader Joe’s and Natural Grocers are all within a block of the project.








Wright Development Group‘s Block 44 Apartments (formerly the 4th and 4th Apartments) is now completely framed-out now at the northwest corner of 400 South and 400 East and will be completed later this year. The seven-story project will have 213 residential units including four live/work units on the the first floor along 400 South.
