Join us as we explore the housing types that allow for more affordability at a scale that fits right into single-family neighborhoods, and why it’s largely illegal to build them now.

Mike Hathorne of Commun1ty, LLC and Larry H. Miller Real Estate will give a 45-minute in-person presentation about the DNA of zoning and Missing Middle Housing. He’ll talk about the scale housing and form of duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes and more, and why it’s been so difficult to build in Salt Lake.

We’ll then hop on complimentary Lime scooters (or you can ride your own two-wheeler) and we’ll visit prime examples in person to discuss the what and why of Missing Middle Housing in Salt Lake City, and look at more contemporary examples of what could exist.
